Bright, Modern Kitchen Renovation in Sonoma Heights, Woodbridge
This traditional two-storey home in the Sonoma Heights neighbourhood of Woodbridge was around 20 years old and had become very dark and dated. We transformed it into a vibrant, inviting home built for a busy family of five.
To open things up, we removed the centre wall and installed a flush steel beam, creating a clean, open layout to work with. The result is a bright, connected main floor that completely changes how the space feels and functions.
A Kitchen Built for a Busy Family
The kitchen more than doubled from its original size, anchored by a 14-foot island designed to support a large family, everyday use, and easy entertaining.
This Woodbridge kitchen renovation was designed around the realities of a busy household, three kids and a demanding work schedule, giving the clients exactly the functional, hard-working space they were looking for.
Warm Palette with Cool Tones
The palette balances warm and cool tones for a rich, layered look. The kitchen features a deep charcoal painted finish on MDF cabinetry, paired with natural oak wood grain and a creamy off-white to lighten the overall feel.
Miele appliances in smoked grey glass integrate beautifully into the charcoal tower pantry wall, blending high-end performance with a clean, built-in look.
Premium Finishes Throughout
Caesarstone quartz was used on the kitchen countertops, backsplashes, and the dining table top, which sits on a custom cabinet table base for a fully cohesive design.
The finished space is bright, durable, and effortless to live in, exactly what this Woodbridge family needed to take on a full, busy household.
