Warm, Modern Kitchen Renovation in Markland Woods, Etobicoke

This newly renovated home in the Markland Woods neighbourhood of Etobicoke was designed around a warm, moody palette built on black, natural oak, and a touch of creamy white. The result is a rich, inviting space that feels both contemporary and effortless to live in.

The original footprint featured numerous walls and several load-bearing elements, defining the home with a closed, traditional layout. We fully reimagined the space to create a beautiful modern open-concept flow connecting the kitchen, dining area, and family room.

Open Concept Living & Custom Details

The main living areas were opened up to create a seamless connection from the kitchen through to the dining and family room, an ideal layout for both everyday living and entertaining.

A number of custom details give this Etobicoke home renovation its distinct character. Fluted feature walls, a custom wine wall, and mud-in LED ceiling lights are just a few of the highlights that make so many parts of the space feel unique and elevated.

Custom Cabinetry & Premium Finishes

The custom kitchen cabinetry was all manufactured locally, featuring panelled fridge, freezer, and dishwasher fronts for a clean, fully integrated look.

The kitchen is finished with quartz Caesarstone countertops, complemented by full-slab backsplashes on the cooking side and throughout the coffee station area.

Easy to Maintain, Easy to Live In

Every material was thoughtfully selected for both beauty and practicality. These finishes are very easy to maintain, making this modern Markland Woods kitchen as livable as it is striking.
